K-12 Education & Philanthropy

The LEF Project is an education philanthropy capacity building project designed to help understand the reach and enrich practice in K-12 philanthropy. With an estimated 400 LEFs in Texas and 5,000 nationwide, the education, philanthropic and policy communities need to better understand the scope, mission, purpose, and policy implications of successful and struggling district-dedicated education foundations. Education Capital is partnering with SEDL, a national education research organization with more than 42 years of non-profit service to the education community.

This project is a part of our work to help educators and communities better understand and manage their financial and goodwill capital in education.
